Since the Morning, Everything Was Wrong (2022) is an interactive storytelling performance, where the audience experiences different layers of meta narrative through interaction, complicating the traditional tool of storytelling and questioning people boundaries of consent.

The story is told in second person, and with the use of a sonic landscape and tactile objects, builds different characters that interact with the audience in a physical way. It plays with the idea of theater of the mind.

Previous itereations involved, latex gloves and spiting in peoples hands, which is where the idea of challenging people consent came from. Would you agree, if those around you agreed as well?

This work took place during EX35 in the Deutsche Evangelische Kerk Den Haag. Another version was also presented during a Loops Flea Market in December of 2022.
